Mavy Legaspi, who was recently confirmed as one of the newest hosts of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab,” promised that he would do his best in the upcoming edition of the hit reality show.
Legaspi was announced as one of the hosts of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab” on the reality show’s social media platforms and “It’s Showtime” on Friday, February 21, where he’s dubbed as the “Ang Kapuso Royal Tropa ni Kuya.”
“Mavy Legaspi is our newest PBB Host this Season! Welcome sa pamilya ni Kuya,” the post read.

Legaspi assured his followers in a now-expired Instagram Story that he would not “let anyone” down while expressing his excitement to be part of the show.
“‘Kapuso Royal Tropa ni Kuya,’ thank you, Lord! I can’t wait to meet the housemates. Can’t wait to learn from the amazing ‘PBB’ hosts. I won’t let any of you down. Ready to host,” he said in his post.

The actor-host said in a separate now-expired Instagram Story that he is willing to accept “any constructive criticism” in his hosting stint.
“Thank you for all the love and support, guys. It’s honestly so overwhelming. I’ll do my very best. I’ll take any constructive criticism moving forward and utilize it to become a better host. All the extra noise is just unnecessary, I suggest you keep it to yourself cause it doesn’t work on me. All love. Love, your newest host, Maverick,” he wrote.

Legaspi said on his Instagram post that he is looking forward to meeting the season’s newest batch of housemates.
“Peekaboo. It’s your Kapuso Royal Tropa! Happy to be one of the hosts of the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition! Thank you for the warm introduction @pbbabscbntv & @itsshowtimena. It’s truly an honor to be part of this Family. I can’t wait to meet the new housemates & to get started. To God be the Glory,” he wrote.

Aside from Legaspi, fellow Kapuso Gabbi Garcia will join the upcoming season’s lineup of hosts.
Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee, and Alexa Ilacad will also reprise their hosting duties in the upcoming season, which is set to air on March 9.
