Sam Milby and Dennis Trillo didn’t hesitate to give their two cents on cheating in relationships, with both actors reiterating that it goes beyond the physical aspect.

Milby and Trillo, as well as their co-stars in the rom-com film “Everything About My Wife,” were asked to share their thoughts on cheating and how it can affect romantic relationships during a press conference. A brief silence initially ensued as the stars seemed to ponder on the question.

“Para sa’kin (For me), the temptation is always around, especially with social media. You would see pictures that can create [a certain] feeling, but when you act on them, that’s cheating,” Milby said. “If you are flirting and leading someone on, that’s emotional cheating. If you are going [past your limits] in a physical manner, that’s cheating obviously.”

The actor-singer also reiterated that cheating happens in different forms, but it can affect relationships the same. He also pointed out that “giving a part of yourself” should be done to one’s partner.

“There are different kinds of cheating, but [some] people choose to look at it in a physical aspect. But there is emotional cheating if you’re married or in a relationship, and when you’re emotionally attached and you’re giving in to that, it is a way of cheating. It’s because you’re giving a part of yourself that is supposed to be for your partner,” he said.
