Filipina beauty queen Dia Mate has returned to the Philippines after winning the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 crown, giving a glimpse into her “first adventure” as the new titleholder.
Mate’s smile was as bright as her fuchsia pink halter dress in photos of her arrival at the airport that she shared on Instagram, as she announced the official date of her homecoming parade.
“Touchdown Filipinas! We did it! Nauwi natin ang korona [We took home the crown]. So excited to start my @rhispanaoficial journey here in the Philippines! I’m also glad to announce that my homecoming parade will be this March 2, 2025 at SM MOA. Thank you to all the media that showed up [for] my arrival. I am so grateful for everyone’s love and support!” she wrote.

Prior to her Philippine homecoming, the Caviteña singer previously shared a glimpse into her “first adventure” as Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 where she visited the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia alongside her fellow queens.
“My first adventure as Reina Hispanoamericana: visiting the Uyuni Salt Flats,” she began her caption. “The Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia are the biggest in the world, stretching over 10,000 square kilometers of pure, otherworldly vibes. When it rains, they turn into a giant mirror, making it look like you’re walking on the sky. Plus, they’re packed with lithium and tons of salt, making them super important for both tourism and the economy.”
Mate’s recent victory marked the second time that Philippines was able to snag the crown from the Bolivia-based pageant following Filipino actress Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez’s win in 2017.
Mate is the girlfriend of musician JK Labajo. She first joined the 2024 Miss Universe pageant where she received a special title from a sponsor.
