Enrique Gil took some time off his busy schedule to enjoy the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Experience in California, where he had the chance to unleash his inner fanboy.
Gil was the happiest NBA fanboy after shooting some hoops, engaging in fan activation activities, and posing for photos at the professional basketball league’s exhibit at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, as seen on NBA’s YouTube channel on Saturday, February 16.
“I’m feeling the pressure now, there’s only like a couple of people here,” he said. “It was awesome. I think I got what it feels like to be a real all-star, doing the three-point challenge at the skills content. And I got my NBA ID postcard. Yeah, [NBA] is the best.”
The actor also took to his Instagram account to share glimpses of his fan experience where he also had the opportunity to pose for photos with New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns.
“Got to chat with my man @karltowns. What a moment @nbaallstar #nbaallstar Kamusta ka?! Oh yeah and he loves lumpia,” he wrote in one of his posts.
Gil has always been vocal about his love for basketball and has consistently flew to the US during his free time to enjoy NBA Games. Aside from his acting career, his social media platforms also features him fanboying over the league’s athletes.
The NBA All-Star Game is an annual event for the basketball league’s all star players where they are divided into teams based on fan, media, and player votes. Players participating include Damian Lillard, Lebron James, Stephen Curry, and Jayson Tatum, among others.
