Actress Beauty Gonzalez’s only daughter Olivia Crisologo seems to be following the footsteps of her mother as she makes her acting debut in the faith-based drama “Paquil.”
Olivia is Gonzalez’s daughter with husband, art curator Norman Crisologo. In “Paquil,” Olivia plays the younger version of her mother, who serves as the lead star alongside JM de Guzman.
In her latest Instagram story, Gonzalez shared a picture of her and her daughter in a warm embrace as she invited her followers to watch their first movie together.
“If you have time this Valentine’s Weekend. Do watch our movie ‘Paquil.’ It’s our first movie together,” she wrote in the caption.

Gonzalez recently introduced Olivia to the entertainment press at the film’s premiere night as she shared the story of how her daughter’s casting came to be.
“Si Direk kasi naghahanap ng batang ako. Okay, ‘yung daughter ko. Kapag dating namin sa set, nagkaroon ng linya, biglang iiyak. Ako ‘yung mas kinakabahan sa kanya. Nandoon naman si Norman and ‘yung yaya. We were all there to support her. Nairaos naman namin. She did one take lang,” the actress told reporters.
The “Kampon” star said that she feels very proud of her daughter, emphasizing that Olivia is still determined to finish her schooling first despite her film debut.
“‘Yung pakiramdam ng nanay na proud. Naiyak na rin ako. Nakakatuwa. Totoo pala ‘yung feeling na ganoon. I’m just so happy na she got to experience and she got to think kung anong gusto niyang gawin. She realized na mas gusto niya munang mag-school. Maybe kapag malaki na siya (to enter showbiz),” she explained.
“Paquil” tells the story of Christina (Gonzalez), who is on a mission to restore her ancestral hometown of Pakil, Laguna’s fading legacy of komedya, a traditional theatrical form that is connected with the town’s rich history.
Christina’s journey becomes more colorful when she meets Paolo (de Guzman). Together, they form a deep connection and shared interest in salvation, finding healing and love within themselves.
Aside from the aforementioned, the film also stars VJ Mendoza, Kych Minemoto, Arnold Reyes, Leandro Baldemor, Lui Manansala, Angela Cortez, Iyah Mina, Bambi Rojas, Star Orjaliza, Joel Saracho, Lou Veloso, Nino Mendoza, Argel Saycon and Lilet Esteban.
