Yeji, a member of Itzy, will make her solo debut with the release of her first mini-album, “Air,” on March 10.
JYP Entertainment announced the plan for Yeji’s solo album on its official social media channels, along with a trailer video and a promotion schedule poster. With this upcoming EP, Yeji will become the first Itzy member to debut as a soloist since the group’s debut in February 2019.
The trailer opens with a cinematic, sci-fi-inspired atmosphere, and Yeji appears with her hair in a high ponytail to a mysterious soundtrack. The video also features striking backgrounds, such as a futuristic laboratory and a dense forest, sparking curiosity about the album concept.

The promotional events ahead of Yeji’s debut kick off with the track-list reveal on Feb. 14, followed by concept photos and short films on Feb. 24, 26 and 28. An album spoiler will be unveiled on March 3, with music video teasers and additional photos dropping on March 5 and 7.
In January 2024, Yeji showcased her solo potential with “Crown on My Head,” a solo B-side track from Itzy’s 8th mini-album, “Born to Be.” Known for her powerful performances and strong stage presence, fans are eager to see how Yeji transforms as a soloist.
The group’s last album in Korea was its eighth mini-album, “Born to Be,” which came out in January. Their latest was “Algorhythm,” which is their third single in Japan and came out in May.
ITZY wrapped up its second international tour named after the eighth EP last month. The tour began in Seoul in February and took the four members to 28 cities. In November, the group will host a fan meetup in Seoul as a full group.
