Three more days ahead of Valentine’s Day, Felip, also known as SB19’s Ken, shared what love meant to him, emphasizing that it is something that can cause “destruction” and is “immeasurable.”

At the recent watch party of his “Moving Closer (From the Cafe)” music video featuring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano “DonBelle,” Ken was asked to describe what love is for him.

“Love for me is pain. Love is everything. It’s pain. It can cause you sadness or your happiness. Sobrang deep niya (it’s very deep). Love can cause destruction. Sobrang laki niya (it’s very big). It is immeasurable,” he said.

In a separate interview with Melai Cantiveros on “Kuan on One,” Ken shared that his ideal woman is “someone who works out and is cute.”

“‘Yung babae na mahilig mag-workout. Tapos ‘yung mga chinita rin. Mas cute sila. Pati na rin ang mga Latina,” he said.

However, the P-pop star emphasized that right now, love is not his main priority.

“Hindi kasi ako showy na tao. Siguro ang sasabihin ng babae sakin. Bakit hindi mo ako binibigyan ng time. Pero hindi kasi ako ganon. Sa panahon ngayon naka-focus lang ako sa trabaho. Gusto ko talaga siguraduhin ‘yung kinabukasan ko. ‘Yung wala na akong iisipin pa,” he said.

(I’m not a showy person. Maybe the woman will say to me, ‘Why are you not giving me time?’ But I’m not like that. Right now my focus is just work. I want to secure my future.)

Felip launched his solo career in 2023 with the debut EP “COMPLEX.” He recently dropped his solo album “7sins,” which includes the tracks “Envy,” “Greed,” and “Ache.”
