Fans were abuzz after Jake Ejercito dropped a remark about having “no feelings,” with some netizens apparently linking it to the speculations of dispute between his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann and her fiancé Philmar Alipayo.
“Wala akong feelings about it,” the actor wrote via his Facebook page on Friday, Feb. 7, which is coincidentally the same day eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Eigenmann and Alipayo are no longer following each other on Instagram.
It can be noted, however, that Vice President Sara Duterte also had a press conference on the same day, in which she used the same statement as Ejercito’s. Duterte uttered the remark when asked if she felt betrayed by the congressmen from Mindanao who voted for her impeachment.
While Ejercito did not share further context on his post, his followers took to the comments section to relate it to his past romance, with some even making mention of Eigenmann.

A few hours later, Ejercito clarified that his post was indeed referring to the vice president’s statement and said, “Stop putting a spin into the caption.”
“God save the tsismosas,” he further noted, an apparent play on Duterte’s earlier “God save the Philippines” remark.
Ejercito shares his daughter Ellie with Eigenmann.
After the apparent unfollowing between Eigenmann and Alipayo, the actress shared posts that were seemingly alluding to the “red flags” on the relationship of her “life partner” and his best friend. She also alluded to a “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” then shared a quote about being “stabbed.”
Alipayo, for his part, released a statement saying he would not complicate things and drag the issue any further. He also said that those who really know him know what kind of person he is.
Eigenmann and Alipayo have been together since 2018, and have two kids named Lilo and Koa.
