Alex Gonzaga apologized to her husband, Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada, for her third miscarriage even as she assured him they would be blessed with their first child through “God’s grace.”
In the last part of her 37th birthday vlog uploaded on her YouTube channel on Monday, January 27, Gonzaga recalled her recent hospital visit for an undisclosed procedure where she was accompanied by her husband.
The vlog also featured the actress-vlogger hosting a dinner party and visiting medical centers in Lipa to donate to mothers who had welcomed their children, where she at one point admitted that she was holding back tears all throughout.
“Hindi ko alam bakit ko ‘to ginawa sa sarili ko. Feeling ko ang tapang kong babae. Kanina pa ako naiiyak… ayoko namang bigla akong magdrama d’un (I don’t know why I did this to myself. I feel like it’s so brave of me to do this. I feel like crying. I don’t want to break down there),” Gonzaga said of her visit.
Gonzaga’s vlog then shifted to a brief recollection of her hospital visit last January 9. She didn’t disclose what the procedure was for, although Morada revealed that she suffered from her third miscarriage in December 2024.
“Dearest Mikee, I’m so sorry again for our loss. The little miracle we had will always stay with us. Let’s keep believing. By God’s grace, we will have the family we have always prayed for,” she wrote.
Gonzaga also looked back at the particular hospital visit on her Instagram page on the same day, while sharing a clip of herself giggling at her husband’s antics.
“My favorite memory is when my husband made sure I was happy before my medical procedure,” she wrote on the video.

Gonzaga suffered from her third miscarriage due to a blighted ovum last month, according to Morada during an interview with the former’s sister Toni Gonzaga. A blighted ovum occurs when a fertilized egg fails to develop into an embryo despite implanting itself in a woman’s uterus.
Morada also shared that he and Gonzaga consulted two obstetrician-gynecologists (or OB-GYN), where the second OB-GYN allowed them to hear their child’s heartbeat.
The actress-vlogger previously suffered a miscarriage in 2021 and 2023.
