Despite the confirmation of Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza’s breakup earlier this month, it seems that Roberto is still teased about his ex-girlfriend after receiving a teasing remark alluding to the actress’ name.

Forteza announced that she and Roberto parted ways last January 2. Neither of them revealed the cause of their split.

Both parties appeared to be moving forward since then. However, Roberto found himself on the receiving end of the audience’s teasing remarks while performing at an event in San Pablo, Laguna, as seen in a video posted by one @judyanndanao9 on TikTok.

FEATURED STORIES

The video showed Roberto performing Orange and Lemons’ “Hanggang Kailan – Umuwi Ka Na Baby” while the audience was singing along. He then held out his microphone, only to receive the remark, “Umuwi ka na Barbie,” apparently referring to Forteza. To note, the song originally contains the lyrics, “Umuwi ka na, baby.”

The actor asked “Ano (What)” in response, only to receive a similar remark in return. He covered his mouth to keep himself from laughing.

Roberto and Forteza were together for seven years prior to their split. Dubbed as JakBie or BarJak, the couple worked together in the film “Laut” and the dramas “Meant To Be” and “Kara Mia.”

Following their breakup, the actress declared that she is ready to embrace her “solo era” at a perfume launch in Quezon City last Saturday, January 25.
