Chie Filomeno calls out Dawn Chang over past feud: ‘Your mouth is full of lies’

Chie Filomeno called out fellow star Dawn Chang after the latter made a statement seemingly referring to the former and their past issue.
Filomeno recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to denounce Chang’s claims as lies after the latter’s interview on Stanley Chi and Anjo Yllana’s “The Men’s Room” podcast went viral. In the interview, she discussed a past rift with another showbiz personality.
“Oh, bakit nahiya ka pa pangalanan ako?” remarked Filomeno. “About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. At alam ng prod sa Showtime yun, actually yung staff sa Showtime nagsabi sa akin about this kanina at nagulat din sila. Your mouth is full of lies, no? ”

Filomeno then defended herself over the supposed dispute, writing, “Sige nga bakit ko muna hinila yung buhok? Balik ko sa’yo sinabi mo, “Pinagtanggol ko lang sarili ko ah.”
(Alright, why did I pull the hair first? Let me reference what you said, “I was just defending myself.”)

In the podcast, Chang did not name Filomeno but admitted having a feud with another celebrity, saying that it only happened because she “defended” herself.
Chang alleged that the unnamed star took away her position in the lineup during a dance rehearsal and initiated a fight with her.
After her confession, host Yllana asked, “Si Cristy Fermin ba yan? (Is that Cristy Fermin?)” Chang responded, “Hindi no, pero ka-initials niya (Nope, but they have the same initials),” fueling speculation that she was referring to Filomeno.
Despite the fact that the interview took place three months ago, Chang’s statements recently made the rounds online after netizens tagged Filomeno, which prompted the latter’s response.
In a separate tweet, Filomeno urged Chang to let go of the issue, especially if she can’t directly address the former, writing, “Naka-move on na lahat. Tahimik na buhay ko, andoon pa din si ate mo Dawn. 2025 na, tumigil ka na kung hindi mo kaya mag name drop.”
(Everyone has moved on. My life is already peaceful, but your sister Dawn is still stuck there. It’s 2025; stop it if you can’t even name-drop.)

Chang seemed to be mum about Filomeno’s tweets as she continues to post other things on social media as of writing.
Filomeno and Chang rose to fame after their stints in “Pinoy Big Brother” and as members of GirlTrends on “It’s Showtime.” Separately, they later appeared in other series and movies in supporting roles.
