Regine Velasquez admitted that she was a “little disappointed” as Stell of SB19, who was supposed to be a guest performer in her upcoming concert, can’t make it due to a “scheduling conflict.”
Asia’s Songbird shared a statement on the matter from the concert producer, iMusic Entertainment Inc. (iMEI), through her Instagram page on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
“Well I’m a little disappointed but……. see you guys,” Velasquez captioned her post with a smiling face emoji.
Stell has yet to publicly comment on the matter as of this writing.
In iMEI’s statement through Velasquez’s sister and iMEI talent manager Cacai Mitra, the company said Stell’s withdrawal from the show stemmed from an “unforeseen issue.”
“We regret to inform you that Stell, who was scheduled to perform at our upcoming concert, R E S E T, on Feb. 21, 2025, will not be able to attend due to a scheduling conflict,” it said. “This unforeseen issue arose from a miscommunication by our production manager.”
The company added that they were still unaware of the situation at the time of the show’s press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 14, where the announcement of Stell’s guest appearance at the concert was made.
“It was only afterward that all parties involved were able to resolve the misunderstanding regarding the scheduled guest appearance,” it noted.
“We understand that many of you were looking forward to seeing Stell perform live with Regine at the concert, and we share in your disappointment. Please know that we are equally saddened by this unexpected change and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause,” it further said.
The company also offered refunds to “any fans who purchased tickets in the hope of seeing Stell perform live with Regine.” It noted, however, that only the tickets bought within Jan. 14-15 are eligible for a refund.
