“It’s impossible to express how much we’re feeling right now. We’ve lost everything. 8 years of memories made in our house. Twenty years of gear,” Goldsmith wrote on the Instagram page for Dawes, the band he shares with his brother and Moore’s husband Taylor Goldsmith.

“Our parents were around the corner. They lost their house as well. Taylor and Mandy are just down the street,” he continued. “All of this is so overwhelming. But what is equally overwhelming is the amount of love and generosity we are on the receiving end of.”

Griffin revealed that Duff and Koma have not only helped them set up a GoFundMe, which has earned nearly $205,000 and counting, but also taken their family in for refuge.

“Our dear friends Matthew Koma and Hilary Duff thought it wise to set up GoFundMe for us to help with everything moving forward. Not to mention they are currently housing my brother’s family. They’ve taken care of my entire family from the moment this began. I will never be able to thank them adequately. This is the kindest act any human could do for another. They are the most beautiful, selfless people we’ve ever known,” he stated.

Moore and Duff both rose to fame in the early 2000s after landing Disney projects, Duff in “Lizzy Maguire” and Moore in “The Princess Diaries.”

Aside from Moore, celebrities Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, Bozoma Saint John, Jeff Bridges, Billy Crystal, Diane Warren, Cameron Mathison, Leighton Meester, and husband Adam Brody are among the stars who have lost their homes in the California wildfires.
