Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt and “Gossip Girl” actor Chace Crawford sparked dating rumors after netizens spotted almost identical photos on their Instagram stories.
The dating rumors between Crawford and the Victoria’s Secret model began in November after their eagled-eyed followers noticed that they have started following each other on Instagram.
Over the previous holiday break, fans speculated that the pair spent some time together at the beach in St. Barts after sharing similar pictures on their Instagram stories.
The photos included an identical images of fireworks and a stunning view from a beach resort.

Celebrity gossip outlet Deuxmoi also made an exclusive reveal, citing a close source saying that the duo are in fact dating.
As of writing, Merritt and Crawford have yet to confirm the dating rumors hounding them.
Crawford, who rose to fame for playing Nate Archibald in the 2007 hit teen drama “Gossip Girl,” previously dated “Blood & Oil” co-star Rebecca Rittenhouse for three years before confirming their split in 2019.
Meanwhile, Merritt was previously linked to “X-men” actor James Marsden after they were spotted hanging out in April 2023. The duo was captured inside Marsden’s car after dining in an Italian restaurant in California.
“It’s not clear if they’re dating or just friends, but they do follow each other on Instagram and have been at some of the same events lately. They were both at the Ralph Lauren fashion show in Los Angeles in October 2022, and they both attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in February 2023. There are no photos of them together at either event,” wrote Just Jared at the time.
Merritt, who becomes the first Fil-Am model to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2018, was first linked to Oscar winner and Thirty Seconds to Mars vocalist Jared Leto in August 2022.
The 28-year-old model was last known to be in a relationship with Olympic swimmer Conor Dwyer.
