‘PBB’ stars Fyang Smith, JM Ibarra to mark first on-screen feature
Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Gen 11 stars Sofia “Fyang” Smith and JM Ibarra are set to make their first on-screen feature in the upcoming music video of Regine Velasquez’s “Wherever You Are.”
Star Music Philippines unveiled on Friday, Jan. 10, the teaser of Asia’s Songbird’s rendition of South Border’s timeless hit, which features the “PBB“ alumni.
In the teaser, Ibarra is captured in a gloomy mood, facing the ocean before he throws something on it, while Smith hides behind a big rock seemingly watching the former.
“Wherever You Are” is part of Velasquez’s “Reginified” album, released in late 2024, which reimagines beloved Filipino classics for a new generation.
The full music video is scheduled to premiere on Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. across multiple platforms of Star Music Philippines.

“Actually ako ang nag conceptualise nito I wanted na ibang artist ang gumawa kasi parang little mermaid ang concept,” she stated.
Fans of the “PBB” stars have expressed excitement for the collaboration, with social media buzz and fan pages promoting the teaser.
As of writing, the teaser has gathered over 2 million views across all social media platforms.
Smith and Ibarra’s on-screen partnership began during their time on “PBB Gen 11, where the female star emerged as the season’s Big Winner.
The duo have showcased their chemistry in live performances, such as their dance performance on “ASAP Natin ’To.”
Smith also recently discussed her 2024 highlights and 2025 goals, indicating ongoing and future projects, both solo and with Ibarra.
