BTS’ J-Hope to include Manila for next concert tour
Korean superstar J-Hope of BTS is set to come back to the Philippines, as he announced that Manila is part of his upcoming concert tour.
On Instagram, J-Hope announced the details of his upcoming solo tour, dubbed “Hope on the Stage,” which will kick off with three back-to-back shows from Feb. 28 to March 2 in Seoul. He will then head to other cities across the US and Asia, including Manila.
The South Korean rapper’s Asian leg tour will kick off in Manila at SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 12 and 13, followed by shows in Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei and Osaka.
The upcoming Manila show will mark the first time a BTS member will return to the Philippines following the group’s “Wings” concert in 2017, which was also held at the Mall of Asia Arena.

After releasing his debut album “Jack in the Box” in July 2022, J-Hope recently marked a major milestone in his solo career after he made history as the first-ever Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza.
Article continues after this advertisementThe boy band member’s six-part documentary “Hope on the Street” also premiered in March 2024, which revisited the time and his struggles bringing his debut album to life as well as his experience headlining a major international music festival.
J-Hope also recently made headlines after he donated 100 million won ($68,000 or P3.96 million) to support the victims of the Jeju Air flight crash at Muan International Airport.
J-Hope is fresh from his military enlistment after fulfilling his 18-month duties. His bandmate Jin also finished his service recently, while five other BTS’ members are still fulfilling their mandatory military time.
