Coco Martin, Angeline Quinto and McCoy de Leon were among the devotees who professed their faith and joined this year’s Feast of Jesus Nazareno.
Martin showed himself touching the image of Jesus Nazareno, through his Instagram page on Thursday, Jan. 9.
“Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat Mahal na Poong Hesus Nazareno,” he captioned the post. (Eternal gratitude to you, Jesus Nazareno.)
Quinto and De Leon likewise shared photos of them with the sacred image, expressing their profound gratitude via their respective Instagram pages.

In a separate post on Martin’s page, the actor was seen with priests and fellow devotees including De Leon, Dimples Romana and her husband Boyet Ahmee, as well as Rodjun Cruz and his wife Dianne Medina.
Other known celebrity devotees of Jesus Nazareno are Noli de Castro, Giselle Sanchez and Sam Verzosa.
The Traslacion is a daylong procession that brings the image of Jesus Nazareno from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church.
Around 230,000 devotees were recorded to have attended the start of this year’s religious activity at 4 a.m. at the Quirino Grandstand, while 16,700 devotees gathered at the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno, but this number is traditionally expected to reach more than a million.
