Barbie Forteza marks 'fresh start' after split with Jak Roberto

Barbie Forteza spent the first few days of 2025 making a “fresh start,” amid her breakup with her boyfriend of seven years, actor Jak Roberto.

The actress showed herself all smiles during her appointment at a dermatology clinic, via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Jan. 5.

“Fresh start,” Forteza said in the caption.

Just days prior to this, Forteza revealed that she and Roberto had parted ways. The actress did not immediately disclose the reason behind the split, and instead described their time together as “seven wonderful years.”

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been,” she said in an open letter she shared via her Instagram page. “Your love was exceptional.”

“But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together. Beautiful goodbye, Jak,” she stated. “May you find the love you deserve.”

Forteza also thanked Roberto for loving her “the way [he] did,” and looked forward to “what’s to come for the both of [them].”

Roberto has yet to publicly speak up on the breakup as of this writing. The actor’s most recent Instagram post is a clip of rapper-songwriter Gloc-9 performing at a New Year countdown event. Roberto has also limited the comments section of his page.
