Zendaya, who is in a long-term relationship with actor Tom Holland, sparked engagement rumors after showing off a large diamond ring on the red carpet of the 2025 Golden Globes Awards.
The actress, who was nominated for her performance in “Challengers,” at this year’s Golden Globes also debuted a tiny tattoo on her side chest in what appears to be the shape of a lowercase “T,” making fans speculate that it could be an ode to Holland, fueling the pair’s engagement rumors.
The celebrity couple, who met in 2016 on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” are set to reunite in the fourth installment of the Marvel comics as well as in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, “The Odyssey,” an adaptation of the ancient Greek epic poems by Homer.
Despite being hounded by dating rumors since 2017, the pair initially denied them, stressing that they were only friends. In July 2021, they were captured sharing a kiss in a car, seemingly confirming their romance.
On Zendaya’s 25th birthday, Holland shared a short but sweet message to the actress on Instagram, referring to her as “My MJ,” which also marked the pair’s official confirmation of their relationship.
Despite the public interest, the pair remained private for most about their relationship, only being spotted together at some events and red carpets, supporting each other’s endeavors.
The duo recently made headlines after Holland was captured protecting Zendaya from the paparazzi. In the viral video, the “Uncharted” actor quickly jumped in to shield his girlfriend from the swamp of reporters and could be heard saying, “No, no, no.”
The “Euphoria” actress was captured responding to his boyfriend, “It’s okay,” as Holland pushed his way through to her. He then protectively grabbed Zendaya’s hand as they headed inside the restaurant together.
