Celebs ring in the New Year with fireworks, reunions, hopeful messages

It was a celebration of the New Year as celebrities welcomed 2025 with hope. While some enjoyed lighting up fireworks with their families, others kept their festivities simple yet heartfelt. Some celebrities are determined to make 2025 their best year yet, as they participated in superstitions as a way of hoping for good luck.
From fireworks, family gatherings, to practicing the “12 grapes” tradition, take a look at how some of the country’s biggest stars rang in the New Year.
Kathryn Bernardo drew laughter from her fans after she was captured by her mother Min eating 12 grapes under the table. Based on a Spanish tradition, eating 12 grapes at the stroke of midnight means that luck will be on a person’s side for the rest of the year.
“Hoping 2025 will be the happiest and peaceful year for everybody,” Min captioned her post.

Another celebrity who participated in the “12 grapes tradition” was Mimiyuuuh in hopes of having a blessed year. She also enjoyed feasting on media noche, interacting with her relatives, and channeling her competitive side through party games.

Chito Miranda and Neri Naig blissfully welcomed the New Year as a complete family, as their intimate celebration took place weeks after Naig was released from detention at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology custody.
