Under the keyword “Kaplan Heiress,” Jenson and Couso made waves after snippets of the web drama through a short video streaming app circulated on social media. The 86-episode series tells the story of a billionaire heiress Hailey Kaplan (Jenson) who plans to hide her true identity as she enters a public school.
Hailey, however, finds herself in trouble after Candice Mathis (Couso) pretends to be the titular “Kaplan Heiress,” despite being the daughter of the family’s maid. This subjects Hailey to bullying by Candice, her friends, and the school.

Maya Jenson
Based in the US, Jenson studied Theatre and Drama at the Indiana University Bloomington in Bloomington, Indiana where she had a concentration in acting and directing. She took part in the university’s theater productions such as “Death of a Salesman,” “Hairspray,” and “Humankind.”
Jenson also spoke about her excitement about getting into film school in the web series “Summer Break,” which was uploaded on YouTube in June 2017, saying she looks forward to living her life.
Jenson goes back and forth between New York and Los Angeles to balance her acting career and other pursuits. Aside from “True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee,” she also appeared in the web series “The Alpha Queen Returns,” and “Daddy Mommy Don’t Divorce” as well as the straight-to-TV films “Home, Not Alone” and “Low Lifes.”

Like her co-star, “True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee” is not Couso’s first foray into web series. Her other works include “Chosen by Fate, Rejected by the Alpha,” “Never Divorce a Secret Billionaire Heiress,” “Fatal Temptation: Between Two Alphas,” “Destined Redemption,” “The Billionaire Baby’s Bargain,” and “Insta Millionaire: Mystery Donor.” She was also seen in the straight-to-TV movies “A Royal Christmas Ballet” and “Damn! The Duke Got the Wrong Girl.”
Aside from acting, Couso also has a YouTube channel where she uploads glimpses of her life and other pursuits behind the camera.
Couso is currently based in Los Angeles and studied Musical Theatre at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida.
