Kylie Verzosa marked Christmas Day with fever after she got stung by a jellyfish while enjoying a swim in Boracay.

Verzosa and her family went on a holiday trip to the beach, as seen in her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Dec. 26. One of the photos showed them taking a dip and snorkeling at the sea.

In the caption, the actress-beauty queen revealed, “So I got stung by a jellyfish and had fever whole Christmas Day.”

While she did not expound on her condition, Verzosa just seemingly laughed it off, putting a rolling on the floor laughing emoji in her post.

In a separate post, Verzosa treated fans to more glimpses of their holiday beach trip. One of the photos shows the actress-beauty queen hugging a man whose face was not shown but appears to be her non-showbiz boyfriend.

Verzosa won the Miss International title in 2016, becoming the sixth Filipino beauty queen to bring home the crown.

She has since ventured into acting and starred in several films including “The Housemaid,” “Penduko,” “My Husband, My Lover,” and “Ang Panday.”

She also runs a business which she launched earlier this year.
