MANILA, Philippines—For those wondering about KC Concepcion’s new love interest, her celebrity mother Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan assured on Tuesday he is “lalaking-lalaki (real man)”.
A report from Inquirer Bandera posted on its official digital edition has the intriguing title: “Sharon sa bagong manliligaw ni KC: lalaking-lalaki! hindi po siya babae! (Sharon on KC’s new suitor: a real man, not a woman!)”
The new suitor, as reported in Inquirer Bandera, is a French guy named Pierre Emmanuel Plassart, who was simply described as a “photographer and a filmmaker.”
Cuneta-Pangilinan described Plassart as a very decent person.
“He introduced himself to us in a very nice way. In fact, when we met him, he approached me first, not KC,” Cuneta-Pangilinan said in the interview.
She revealed she has also met Plassart’s mother.
As explained by Cuneta-Pangilinan, Plassart was with his mother when they met in an event she and KC attended in the United States recently.
“I was sitting near KC when he introduced himself to me. Then I introduced him to KC,” Cuneta-Pangilinan said.
“It shows how well he was raised. He loves his mom but he’s not a mama’s boy,” she added.
Cuneta-Pangilinan said another plus point for Plassart is he shows real care for and interest in KC’s half-siblings, Frankie and Miel.
The two are Cuneta-Pangilinan’s children with Senator Francis Pangilinan.
The Inquirer Bandera article also dropped the question, “Who among her daughter’s ex-boyfriends was she alluding to?”
Still clouded with mystery, the break-up of KC and her celebrity boyfriend Piolo Pascual a few months ago shook local show business.
The main reason that caused their separation was a secret that was never brought—as the saying goes— out of the closet.
