“It’s Showtime” is set to continue its air time on GMA Network in 2025 amid rumors of the show parting ways with the network due to debt issues.

The Corporate Communications of GMA confirmed the news via an official statement on Friday, Dec. 20.

“’It’s Showtime’ will continue to air in GMA in 2025! Maligayang Pasko, madlang Kapuso at Kapamilya,” it read.

ABS-CBN echoed the announcement by sharing a separate statement on its social media platforms.

“ABS-CBN is happy to share the good news that ‘It’s Showtime’ will continue to air on the noontime slot of GMA from Monday to Saturday,” it stated.

The Kapamilya network underscored that they are grateful for the steadfast partnership with the Kamuning-based network.

“ABS-CBN and “It’s Showtime” family are most grateful to GMA for their continued trust and support. We will continue to inspire and bring happiness to our audiences. Thank you Kapuso, Kapamilya, and Madlang People,” the statement concluded.

On Dec. 17, Vice Ganda debunked allegations that their show is in debt to GMA Network.

“It’s Showtime” began airing on GMA’s secondary channel, GTV, on July 1, 2023, after the program formally ended its partnership with TV5.

In March, GMA and ABS-CBN inked a historic partnership that allowed the Kapamilya show to fill the prime noontime slot of Channel 7, a novel first for both networks.
