Blackpink member Rosé has set the rumor mill spinning after being spotted on a “low-key date night” with Filipino-American model-actor Evan Mock. The two recently starred in the former’s music video “Toxic Till the End.”
In “Toxic Till the End,” the pair shared several intimate scenes as they portrayed lovers who were stuck in a messy relationship. The two also locked lips in the music video, which marks Rosé’s first on-screen kiss.
Given their chemistry, rumors circulated that the duo might be dating each other, especially after outlets DeuxMoi and J-14 released reports the pair was recently spotted out and about in New York City.
However, as of writing, the rumors remain unconfirmed, given that Rosé previously shared in an episode of “Therapuss with Jake Shane” last November that she is currently single.
“Some people have miserable experiences there [dating], and sometimes I feel so happy I’m like a single girl,” she said at the time.
The Blackpink member also said that her recent album “Rosie” was inspired by her previous relationships, not particularly romantic ones.
“I think I’m grateful enough to have gone through a few relationships, you know, like a normal girl in her 20s. I do want people to understand that I’m not much different from your average girlfriend or 23-year-old girl. I’m probably very relatable if you listen to my songs and if anyone’s been in that kind of a relationship. It doesn’t even have to be about a boyfriend, just any type of toxic relationship,” she explained.
Meanwhile, before collaborating with Rosé, Mock first gained prominence after portraying Aki Menzies in the “Gossip Girl” reboot in 2021. Born to a mother of Filipino descent and an American dad, the 27-year-old is also a model, skater, surfer, photographer, and former diver.
