Yasmien Kurdi laments daughter being bullied in school

Yasmien Kurdi detailed how her firstborn Ayesha has allegedly been enduring bullying from her classmates, noting instances when they “ganged up” on her daughter and made an online hate group against her.
The celebrity mom spoke up on the matter in a series of Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Kurdi said Ayesha was “targeted by a group of students in her class” for not being able to keep up with the class’ online discussions about their Christmas party while on a trip abroad.
“Surrounded by seven to nine students, Ayesha was blocked from leaving the classroom and was denied food and recess. In other words, she was ganged up on,” the actress wrote.
Kurdi also stressed that her daughter went on a vacation to destress after suffering from paranoia and anxiety, which was caused by students who allegedly harassed her and took a video of her without her consent.
Article continues after this advertisement“Ayesha is just a kid; she recently turned 12, and she has been enduring this type of bullying since Grade 2. Alarmingly, this has led to the creation of an online ‘AYESHA HATE CLUB’ targeting her,” Kurdi lamented.
Article continues after this advertisementKurdi was also vexed after the parents of the students supposedly “twisted” what really happened and apparently even told the actress to “back off.”
“I know that bullies are everywhere. The question is, will the school do something about this?” Kurdi said, opting not to name the school.

In a separate post, Kurdi apologized to her child for experiencing such bullying.
“I’m so sorry, Ayesha. You have to go through all of this because I am your mom,” the actress wrote. “But I will always be here for you. I will protect you with all my life. You are beautiful inside and out.”

Ayesha’s father, Rey Soldevilla, along with several other celebrities praised her for being a “brave girl.” Actor Rocco Nacino even offered to teach Ayesha Jiujitsu for self-defense.
Aside from Ayesha, Kurdi and Soldevilla have a baby daughter named Raya Layla.
