‘It’s Okay Not To Be Okay’ PH remake drops teaser
Fans were filled with excitement after seeing Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino get into their roles in the teaser of the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean TV series “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay.”
A first look at Curtis, Garcia and Aquino portraying their respective roles was shown on the remake’s teaser released by ABS-CBN Star Creatives via its Facebook page on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
“Love, healing, and a little bit of chaos are coming your way,” the caption reads. “Ready na ba ang feelings mo?” (Are your feelings ready?)
“Coming 2025,” it added.
Excited netizens then flooded the comments section with praises for the actors, especially for Curtis who is marking her TV comeback with “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay.”
Article continues after this advertisementThe Filipino adaptation of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” was confirmed in December 2023. While further details on the project have yet to be revealed, other reported cast members are Enchong Dee, Xyriel Manabat and Kaori Oinuma.
The TV series, whose premiere date has yet to be announced, is helmed by director Mae Cruz-Alviar. It will follow the story of Curtis’ character, who was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder and who gets romantically entangled with a psychiatric ward caretaker, portrayed by Garcia.
Garcia’s character has an older brother in the autism spectrum, the role portrayed by Aquino.
