It was an unforgettable Thanksgiving celebration for Jake Zyrus and his girlfriend Cheesa Laureta, as the Filipino singer took his followers on a glimpse of how their intimate celebration went.
Zyrus took to Instagram to share glimpses of their Thanksgiving celebration on Sunday, December 1, where the couple enjoyed feasting on meat, pastries, and appetizers on a charcuterie board, explored the area, and interacted with friends.

Based on her Instagram page, Laureta is a Filipina-American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. She specializes in pop and R&B with songs like “Visions of You” and “Fall Again.”
She also uploads covers of herself and Zyrus on her YouTube channel.
Zyrus is currently based in the US and continues to work with Filipino singers and songwriters.
Previously known by her professional name, Charice Pempengco, which is also his real name, Zyrus became a singing sensation both locally and internationally after trying his luck in several talent shows, and TV appearances. He then caught the attention of many big names in the music and entertainment industry in Hollywood, among them Ellen DeGeneres, Celine Dion, Oprah Winfrey, and David Foster, who later became his manager.
In 2010, the diminutive singer then transitioned to acting and television, joining the cast of the musical-comedy-drama TV series as Sunshine Corazon.
Zyrus came out as lesbian in 2013 and eventually went public as a transgender man four years later.
