Actor John Arcilla has weighed in on the “cheating scandal” involving young stars Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings as he urged netizens to move on and give the two a “chance” to learn from their mistakes after the actress finally broke her silence about the allegations.

On social media, Arcilla emphasized that it’s not the public’s responsibility to “forgive” the young stars for their actions, as they did not do anything wrong to the public in the first place.

“Wala naman tayong KAILANGAN PATAWARIN SA KANILANG TATLO DAHIL WALA NAMAN SILANG NAGING KASALANAN SA ATIN. They did what they did at that time because that is what THEY THOUGHT are the BEST THINGS to do nung tumatawid sila sa pagkakataong iyon AT ITO NGA ANG NAGING RESULTA,” he began his caption.

“I am sure we all learned our lessons.

The “Heneral Luna” star stressed that it’s now time for the public to carry on with their own lives and refrain from wishing ill on the people involved.

“So move on na and let’s all be positive and take good care of our own consequences. Sabi nga “ALL’s WELL THAT ENDS WELL” Let us wish everyone a good life. Ang lagi kong mantra: “Don’t Wish them Bad, Wish them Consciousness” Mabuhay!” he concluded his post.

In a separate post on Thursday, Arcilla initially took a swipe at Jennings for allegedly “gaslighting” the situation as he “intentionally” carried on a relationship with the two women at the same time.

His statement comes after Jennings’ non-showbiz girlfriend, Jamela Villanueva, publicized the intimate conversations between the former and Racal.

“ITO LANG ANG HINDI KO MAINTINDIHAN: Bakit hindi Binura? May mali eh. Anong Pakay? Parang may plano, parang may Hindi magandang balak. Parang mayroong laro eh. SANA MALI AKO,” he stated.

Ibang Klaseng mag-trip. May hindi rin sina-alang-alang yung 3rd party, bad trip din yon – pero tingin ko lang mukang may isang Kolokoy na nag take advantage ng LAHAT with confidence and a disguise of being Cool?” added the actor.
