Trina Candaza firmly shot down rumors that she’s in a relationship with a “rich man,” saying she works hard to provide for her daughter Mithi’s needs.

Candaza denied that she’s in a relationship with anyone in the comments of her Instagram post on Monday, December 2, when asked about her rumored boyfriend. The content creator was previously accused of having a “rich boyfriend” who allegedly funds her lifestyle and provides for her daughter Mithi.

“I’ve heard the rumors about me nga. Pero no, I’m not dating anyone right now. And I work very hard to provide a good life for me and my daughter,” she said.

The content creator noted that while she understands being the brunt of rumors, she said she’s the “best person” to speak her truth.

“I fully understand that there will always be assumptions from other people—and that’s okay. But I am the best person to tell my story because I live it,” she said.

Candaza was previously in a relationship with Carlo Aquino from January 2019, until their split was confirmed in 2022. They welcomed their daughter, Enola Mithi, in September 2020.

Aquino is now married to fellow actress Charlie Dizon, and they tied the knot in June 2024. In the vlog of entertainment insider Ogie Diaz, he shared that Candaza and Mithi were allegedly not invited to the couple’s wedding.
