Former EXO member Tao, Chinese singer Xu Yiyang now married
Former South Korean boy group EXO member Huang Zitao, also known as Tao, and Chinese singer Xu Yiyang have tied the knot in China.
Tao took to his personal Weibo account to share photos of him and his wife holding their Chinese marriage certificate, with the caption “Goal achieved.”
Yiyang, who’s a former SM Entertainment trainee, also posted the same photos on her Weibo page, writing in the caption, “I want to have a relationship with the purpose of getting married.”
On her Instagram account, she also uploaded another photo of them showing off their marriage certificates. She added a bride and groom emoji in the caption.

I hope you’ll be the person who walks with me through life,” Tao told his then girlfriend. “Every moment of this lifetime, the one I want is you. I dare to marry you; do you dare to accept?”
Tao, 31, and Yiyang, 28, reportedly first met at SM Entertainment in South Korea, where the latter was a trainee and the former was still a member of EXO. In July, the pair confirmed their status by posting intimate pictures of them under the sunset.
Tao, who debuted with EXO in 2012, left the group three years later following a legal battle with SM Entertainment over mistreatment. He then returned to China, where he established his own agency, L.TAO Entertainment.
Yang, who was part of the SMROOKIES for two years, later joined Tao’s agency after leaving SM. She debuted with the Chinese group Legal High before transitioning to being a soloist and actress.
