‘Tabing Ilog’ stars John Lloyd Cruz, Patrick Garcia, Paolo Contis reunite

Fans of the 1990s TV series “Tabing Ilog” were delighted after seeing John Lloyd Cruz, Patrick Garcia and Paolo Contis together and seemingly working on something they will release “soon.”
The actors bonded over a meal in an undisclosed location, as seen in the photos shared by Garcia on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Garcia did not give details of their meeting and only captioned his post “SOON,” which prompted speculations of an upcoming project. This, however, was not immediately confirmed by the actors.

Prior to this, Garcia and Contis also had a reunion with their fellow “Tabing Ilog” cast member Kaye Abad.
Article continues after this advertisementThe three of them starred in the film “A Journey,” which tells the story of a woman who was diagnosed with cancer but refused to get treatment, and instead went on a road trip abroad with her husband and best friend.
“It’s nice to bring back our friendship in ‘Tabing Ilog,’” Garcia said of their reunion. “Knowing we’re going to be together, hindi naman ako kinabahan (I wasn’t nervous). I’ve been gone for four years, but working with these two brought so much memories back.”
Meanwhile, also included in the cast of the 1990s TV series were Baron Geisler, Jodi Sta. Maria, Desiree del Valle and Paula Peralejo.
