Enrique Gil and Jane De Leon take on the role of ghost hunters aiming to uncover a haunted hospital’s mysterious past in the full trailer of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry “Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital.”

Seemingly portraying caricature versions of themselves, Gil and De Leon find themselves exploring Taiwan, including a mysterious hospital, as shown in the full trailer on Reality MM Studios’ YouTube channel on Monday, December 2.

But what they thought would be an engaging project turned into a horrifying experience after a member of their group was taken away by a mysterious spirit, prompting the rest of them to make a desperate search for a way out of the hospital for their safety.

Based on the 2018 Korean film “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum,” the movie also stars Alexa Miro, Rob Gomez, MJ Lastimosa, Raf Pineda, and Ryan Azurin.

Last November, Miro previously shared during the movie’s press conference that she went through a “paranormal experience” while filming. She, however, didn’t pay attention to the mysterious spirit since she didn’t want her co-stars to worry.
