‘It’s Showtime’ renewal with GMA ‘in the process of negotiations’
GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes addressed rumors that “It’s Showtime” will supposedly cease airing on GMA in December, saying negotiations on the noontime show’s renewal with the network is ongoing.
Speculations that the ABS-CBN show’s contract with GMA will end in December, and that its noontime slot will be taken over by the Kapuso variety show “TiktoClock” earlier circulated on social media.
“We are in the process of negotiations now for the renewal of ‘Showtime,'” Gozon-Valdes responded through a statement released by GMA Network through its Instagram page on Friday, Nov. 22.

The GMA executive opted not to expound on the matter. ABS-CBN and the show production have yet to comment as of this writing.
Article continues after this advertisement“It’s Showtime” first aired on GMA’s GTV channel in July 2023. The show then made its historic debut on GMA’s main channel last April. Several crossovers of celebrities have since been seen on television, with Kapuso stars frequently guesting on the noontime program.
“Hindi lingid sa kaalaman niyo na malalim ang aming isinadsad ng Kapamilya, pero nariyan kayo ‘di para tapakan pa at saktan pa sa mga panahong sadsad na sadsad kami. Inialay niyo ang kamay ninyo para unti-unti kami makabangon,” host Vice Ganda addressed GMA during their partnership contract signing.
“Hindi niyo lang kami tinutulungan makatayo, pinagbuksan niyo pa kami ng tahanan para muling magpalakas, magpagaling, magpahilom, at makatindig ulit kami. Hindi tumindig mag-isa, pero tumindig nang magkasama,” he added.
