MANILA, Philippines – The Teutels and the Orange Country Choppers (OCC) crew are back with cylinders of revving adrenaline and chopper madness. This September on AMERICAN CHOPPER: MALAYSIAN ADVENTURE, the crew’s passion takes them on a whirlwind trip to exotic Malaysia for a very special occasion. On AMERICAN CHOPPER: MALAYSIAN ADVENTURE, the OCC crew designs, builds and delivers the ‘1Malaysia Chopper’, a one-of-a-kind custom-made motorcycle that celebrates an initiative by the nation’s Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Mohammad Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak; to uphold a strong cultural harmony within the country. AMERICAN CHOPPER: MALAYSIAN ADVENTURE premieres September 16, at 10:00 p.m. Encores on September 17 at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., September 22 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
In conjunction with Tourism Malaysia’s launch of the ‘5-Mountain Motorcycle Tour’, ‘1Malaysia Chopper’ is a partnership between OCC and the tourism body, and perfectly embodies and commemorates the nation’s harmonious spectrum of diversities, heritage and culture. On AMERICAN CHOPPER: MALAYSIAN ADVENTURE, watch as Paul Senior, Paul Junior and the OCC team squeeze every bit of their creative juices to put together an iconic masterpiece that aptly represents and promotes Malaysia as a unique scenic destination for biking tours.
With the combination of an air intake shaped like the Petronas Twin Towers of Kuala Lumpur, the country’s national flower, the hibiscus planted on, and an amazing frame decked out in the colours of the Malaysian flag, the ‘1Malaysia Chopper’ is indeed a perfect representation of all that makes Malaysia truly distinctive, vibrant and exhilarating. On AMERICAN CHOPPER: MALAYSIAN ADVENTURE, follow the guys as they embark on their journey to Malaysia to not only personally deliver the “1Malaysia Chopper”, but enjoy a “Truly Asia” getaway where East meets West, and the old melodiously harmonises with the new.
The AMERICAN CHOPPER: MALAYSIAN ADVENTURE kicks off with the guys having a rip-roaring time all over the sunny island of Langkawi, as they encounter wildlife, swim under beautiful waterfalls, feed hungry stingrays, go on a boat ride through mangrove forests, take a cable car up to Mount Machincang and barter at the historic central market of the Jewel of Kedah. Then, it’s time to take the fun to cosmopolitan Kuala Lumpur where the fun, exploration and misadventures continue. From Paul Senior’s hilarious antics trying on a flowery dress, to the crew taking a ride up to the sky bridge of the Petronas Twin Towers, and finally, the arrival of the most amazing moment of the trip; the official unveil of ‘1Malaysia Chopper’ by the country’s Prime Minister, in the presence of 2,000 Malaysian superbike owners.
