Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards have nothing but gratitude after the successful opening of their film “Hello, Love, Again,” which earned a record-breaking first-day gross.
The actors each dedicated a thank-you message to their supporters through their respective Instagram pages.
“Our hearts are overflowing with so much joy. This is more than what we’ve prayed and wished for,” Bernardo said. “We poured so much love into this project, and you returned that love a thousandfold. The amount of support we’ve been receiving is beyond what any of us could have imagined.”
“To our fellow Filipinos, thank you for giving us the chance to continue sharing with you the story of Joy and Ethan,” she added.
Richards, for his part, credited their supporters for making the cast’s “Hello, Love, Again” journey memorable and meaningful.
“It was all worth it, every step of the way!” he wrote.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for embracing Ethan and Joy with so much love and support once again,” he stated, referring to his and Bernardo’s characters in the film. “YOU ALL MADE THIS HAPPEN!”
“Hello, Love, Again” amassed P85-million gross on its first day on Nov. 13, which is the highest opening gross for a local film so far. It also reportedly earned P155 million in two days.
The movie, which is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster film “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” also stars Joross Gamboa, Jennica Garcia, Valerie Concepcion and Ruby Rodriguez, among others.
