Bo’s Coffee welcomes the holiday season with ‘Paskong Pinoy 2024: A Celebration of Filipino Flavors’
The Philippines, known for having the longest Christmas season in the world, embraces the holidays with festive food and limited-time coffee that evoke nostalgia and joy. Bo’s Coffee, a beloved homegrown brand, is keeping this tradition alive with the launch of its Paskong Pinoy 2024 menu—offering a truly Filipino line-up of coffee and seasonal treats.
Philippine Coffee and Truly Filipino Holiday Fare
Unveiling a limited-time offering that embodies the essence of Filipino Christmas, Bo’s brings back its holiday beverage tradition, the crowd-favorite Dark Mocha Macadamia Froccino, alongside their exciting new Choc Nut Series created in partnership with the iconic Filipino confectionery brand featuring the Choc Nut Mocha Froccino, Iced Choc Nut Latte, and Hot Choc Nut Latte.
This year’s limited-edition holiday menu showcases delicious innovations with a Filipino twist. The new Puto Bumbong Cheesecake and Halo-Halo Cake, along with the much-loved Bibingka Cheesecake, are creative renditions of traditional Paskong Pinoy favorites. Additionally, the menu features the ever-popular Mini Bibingkas, a perfect pairing for Bo’s world-class coffee creations made from beans sourced locally from Filipino farmers.
“We wanted to feature the flavors we all enjoy during the holiday season,” says Rachel Fallarme, Bo’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Paskong Pinoy is an annual tradition for us, and this year is no different because there’s truly no Christmas like a Filipino Christmas. The warmth, joy, and togetherness we celebrate with friends and family is unmatched anywhere in the world. Our cakes and drinks are meant to bring comfort and happiness as part of this cherished tradition.”
A Festive Launch and Tree Lighting Ceremony
To kick-off the launch of the Paskong Pinoy menu and celebrate a successful year, Bo’s hosted a Salo-Salo and media thanksgiving at their flagship store in Capitol, Cebu. The event was attended by CEO Steve Benitez, and SVP-Chief Operating Officer Rachel Fallarme, “It was fitting to welcome the season at our Capitol Tribute Store in Cebu, where Bo’s was founded in 1996 by our CEO Steve Benitez, a proud Cebuano,” Fallarme says.
Another Paskong Pinoy Salo Salo was held at Bo’s Coffee Glorietta 5 last November 6, 2024, the chain’s Manila flagship location. The intimate media event was a thanksgiving occasion for a fruitful year.
Championing Philippine Coffee and Nationwide Growth
Bo’s continues its commitment to putting the spotlight on Philippine coffee. Their beans are sourced from local farmers across the Philippines, in the regions of Sagada, Benguet, Bukidnon, and Davao to name a few. “We believe in supporting homegrown coffee and helping Filipino farmers,” says Fallarme. “Each cup of Bo’s coffee highlights beans from across the Philippines, from the mountains of Sagada in the North to the highlands of Mt. Apo and Mt. Matutum in the South. Our goal is to put Philippine coffee on the global map because we believe our beans are world-class.”
Bo’s has also diversified its menu over the years, adding a variety of light yet filling meals, such as pastas, sandwiches, and cakes, to complement its coffee offerings. “We’ve strengthened our digital presence, too,” Fallarme adds, “making our products available through online platforms and delivery services, ensuring customers can enjoy Bo’s wherever they are.”
Bo’s Coffee Expands Locally and Globally
With a growing network of over 150 locations worldwide, now at 136 across the Philippines and 20 in the Middle East, Bo’s continues its steady expansion. “We are increasing our presence in the global market, particularly in the Middle East, and have exciting plans for our first location in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada, set to open in 2025,” Fallarme reveals. Bo’s is also focusing on opening more locations in Metro Manila and strengthening its foothold in Northern Luzon.
Franchising will play a key role in the brand’s continued growth, with new locations planned in priority regions such as Metro Manila, Central Visayas, and Southern Luzon.
