After declaring that she’s unapologetic for who she is, Angelica Lopez looked every inch a queen in a flowy, purple gown during the Miss International 2024 preliminary competition.

Lopez was breathtaking in her Ryan Ablaza Uson purple gown with a matching cape, which flaunted her curves and showed off her dusky skin tone, as seen on her Instagram page on Sunday, November 10.

The look was completed with the beauty queen showing off her long, wavy locks.

In a separate post, Uson shared that the Swarovski crystal-encrusted gown was inspired by Japan’s Mount Fuji and sakura (cherry blossoms).

Lopez is hoping to bring home the Philippines’ seventh Miss International crown after Kylie Verzosa in 2016.

In her preliminary interview, the beauty queen acknowledged that while she is “not fit to become Miss International because of [her] skin color,” she remained firm that she’s the “best representation of [her] countrymen” in the global tilt.
