Christophe Bariou opened up about his romance with actress Nadine Lustre, speaking about how they both “deeply care” about a lot of things.
The French-Filipino businessman shared this via his Instagram broadcast channel, where he answers fan questions about their relationship, business and the like.
“[What is] one thing you really love about your relationship with [Ms. Nadine?],” one netizen asked.
Bariou responded, “We both deeply care about a lot, and we can’t stand injustice and how the Philippines has so much potential but is stuck and slow because of corruption and manipulation.”

It can be noted that Bariou and Lustre are active in fighting for animal rights and promoting vegan lifestyle. They also support environmental organizations and causes.
Lustre and Bariou’s relationship was revealed in January 2022. The pair then made their first public appearance as a couple during the Vogue Philippines anniversary gala in August 2023.
In October of the same year, the couple launched their wine business, which they regard as their passion project and their “new baby.” The couple also opened a vegan restaurant last July, then introduced their plant-based milk earlier this month.
Speaking about his first impression of the actress, Bariou said, “She came across as someone very purpose-driven and (maybe a little too) hardworking.”
“When I eventually learned she was ‘kind of famous,’ I initially thought, ‘Never mind, no way, I don’t want drama!’ (Always been trying to stay low-key),” he added. “But after talking to her one-on-one, I realized we had a lot in common, and she was surprisingly down-to-earth.”
