Seven years after Ryza Cenon threatened Sunshine Dizon with a toy gun in the Kapuso drama “Ika-6 na Utos,” Cenon admitted that she was initially confused at how she would bring the scene to life.
Cenon portrayed the role of Georgia Ferrer, the mistress of Rome Fuentabella (Gabby Concepcion), in “Ika-6 na Utos.” She faced off against Emma Doqueza (Sunshine Dizon) for Rome’s affections, which ultimately ended with the mistress dying in an explosion.
Known for its confrontation scenes between Georgia and Emma, “Ika-6 na Utos” had one of its noteworthy moments that had Georgia wielding a toy gun against the latter at a toy shop after arguing over a stroller and Rome.
On her TikTok page on Wednesday, Nov. 6, Cenon looked back at the titular scene, where she shared her initial confusion regarding the use of a toy gun to go against Dizon’s character.
“Actually, noong bina-block ‘yun noong time ng scene na ‘yun, nagke-question kami. ‘Huh, sure ba kayo na Nerf gun ‘yung itututok ko? Kasi baka ma-question tayo ng tututukan ko (Actually, when we rehearsed the scene’s blocking, were they sure about me using a Nerf gun?’ Because the person I’m up against might question me),’” she said.

The actress was then informed that using a toy gun was part of the “scene’s logic.”
“T’as sabi, ‘Yun nga ang logic. Itututok ang laruan mo, hindi totoo ‘yan.’ So parang, ah okay, it makes sense (They told me that it was the logic. I had to wield the toy against her because it’s not real. So I thought, okay. It makes sense),” she said.
Cenon previously poked fun at the aforementioned scene on TikTok in May 2024, where she recorded herself holding a bigger toy gun in a shop.
In its time of airing, “Ika-6 na Utos” made waves for the handling of its confrontation scenes between Georgia and Emma, usually ending up in campy situations. Their fight scenes included them hitting each other with balut at a park and dunking each other’s faces in an aquarium filled with prawns and lobsters.
The afternoon drama ran from April 2017 to March 2018.
