“Goin’ Bulilit” alum Igi Boy Flores attained a new milestone as he successfully finished his college studies, getting a degree in marketing management.
Flores took to Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 30, to share the happy news that he attained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Marketing Management.
“I FINALLY MADE IT!” he began his caption alongside his graduation photos.
(I always tell the youth and my co-actors how important education is. Now, I can be even more proud of it because I have finished my studies, finally.)
The former “Goin’ Bulilit” actor admitted that he had a different mindset before, seemingly unmindful of the importance of education.
(I didn’t have a good mindset then. I used to think, “Why should I study if I have a good job now?” that’s why I didn’t spend much time in my early college days in another school. When we got a little older, that’s when I started to think that something was missing; I wasn’t whole.)
Flores remarked that having a good education is the contribution he can give society.
(What else can I contribute to society other than making people happy through acting and comedy? I didn’t think that finishing school would make up for the lack I was looking for. First of all, I want to thank God for giving me many opportunities to finish my studies and for the blessings he has given and continues to give me.)
The 29-year-old actor then thanked his professors, family, friends and fellow actors including “Goin’ Bulilit” alumna Sharlene San Pedro.
Flores became a household name after he was cast as an original member of the kiddie gag show “Goin’ Bulilit” in 2005 along with fellow child actors San Pedro, Jane Oineza, Miles Ocampo and Nash Aguas, among others.
