Miss Grand International 2024: Philippines’ CJ Opiaza advances to Top 10
CJ Opiaza still stands a chance to take home the Philippines first ever Miss Grand International crown as she entered the Top 10 of the competition during the pageant’s coronation night in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, Oct. 25.
Aside from Opiaza, other candidates who made it to the next round were Indonesia, France, Myanmar, Peru, Spain, the United Kingdom, India, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic.
The top 10 finalists were announced after the Miss Grand International delegates flaunted their physique in the swimsuit competition, donning classy white two-piece swimwear, adorned with gold filigrees as belts, as they worked the runway to the tone of Jungle’s “Back on 74.”
A few minutes later, the fast-paced coronation night saw Miss Grand Brazil bagging the Best Swimsuit title, while Miss Grand Indonesia took home the Most Popular Vote award.
Reigning titleholder Luciana Fuster will crown her successor at the end of the coronation night.
