Celebs commend Leni Robredo’s ‘service, leadership’ amid Kristine onslaught
Leni Robredo received praises from celebrities including Gary Valenciano, Karen Davila, Jim Paredes and Cherry Pie Picache after the former vice president braved the floods caused by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine to extend help to the victims.
In the photos shared by netizen Egine Oquindo Baral and re-posted on Robredo’s Instagram page on Thursday, Oct. 24, Robredo and several other companions were deep in a waist-high flood in Naga City while holding on to a rubber boat containing drinking water and other goods.
Robredo was giving out the supplies while also seemingly scouring the area severely affected by the storm.
