Dominic Roque stranded in Sorsogon for days due to Kristine
Count Dominic Roque among celebrities who were stranded in Sorsogon after the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine prevented them from crossing back to Manila.
Kristine, with international name Trami, made landfall in Divilacan town in Isabela province at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, Pagasa said. In its 8 a.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said Kristine is now over the Cordillera Administrative Region, moving over Northern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph) near its center and gusts of up to 160 kph.
On his Instagram, Roque said he and his companions have been staying at a beach resort in Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon when Kristine let out its full might over the province and nearby areas.
“‘Can’t go home yet.. Stranded here for two days now,” Roque said.
“If the sea permits, we will cross Allen (a port in Samar) then proceed directly to Tacloban to fly back to Manila. The others will go through Surigao to Davao,” he added.
