Actor Derek Ramsay shared that his mother, Remedios, got hospitalized, describing it as the “scariest moment” of his life, even as he assured that his mother is recovering now.
Ramsay took to social media to share a photo of his mother in the hospital bed alongside images of the X-ray scan showing a broken bone in the forearm.
“The other day, my mom took a bad fall and broke her forearm. Seeing her fall and seeing her in so much pain was the scariest moment of my life. My mom is a strong woman, so it was difficult to see her screaming and crying due to the pain,” he began his caption.
The 47-year-old actor then said that his mother’s surgery turned out successful as he thanked everyone for their prayers.
“The day after, my mom had her surgery, and it was a successful one. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who took care of her. Thank you, guys, for all your prayers and well wishes. Thank you, Lord, for answering all our prayers! Mom is back to putting on her own makeup, which is definitely a good sign!!” he concluded his post.
In the comments section, fellow celebrities extended their prayers and get-well-soon messages to the actor and his mother.
