The much-awaited official headshots of the delegates in the 2024 Miss Universe pageant have been released, and aside from Filipino bet Chelsea Manalo, several other delegates’ photographs were snapped by Filipino lensmen.

And with Filipino photographers behind the camera, Philippine-based glam teams are certainly in the picture too, with the images captured in studios located in Manila.

Manalo and the Miss Universe Philippines organization tapped famed glamour photographer and her go-to lensman, Seven Barretto, for her official headshot.

“La Bulakenya” sported sleek straight hair parted in the middle, styled by Jerry Javier, while makeup artist Mickey See made her dusky complexion glow with his masterful brush strokes.

Manalo’s 2024 Miss Universe Philippines batchmates who sought other national titles in their fathers’ homelands also went in front of the camera of Filipino photographers as well.

Victoria Velasquez Vincent, who was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand after finishing in the Top 10 of the Philippine national search, was photographed by Dookie Ducay, whose clientele includes some of the most well-loved international beauty queens in the country.

Jan Dayaon dabbed barely-there makeup on Vincent, while Arvee Yadao set the Filipino-Kiwi architect’s hair in big, soft curls for the headshot.

Miss Universe Great Britain Christina Chalk, Top 20 in the Philippine search in May, was snapped by Owen Suan Reyes, with Daniel Forro assigned hair and makeup duties.

Part-Filipino Miss Universe Bahrain Shereen Ahmed and Miss Universe Pakistan Noor Xarmina, both fielded by Yugen Group of Filipino publicist and publisher Josh Yugen, had Jayson Isaac behind the camera for their headshots.

Ahmed was glammed up by Natalie Guevarra, while Xarmina had makeup artist Junie Sierra. Both ladies’ headshots were snapped during their visit to Manila.

The five ladies are among the more than 120 delegates competing in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, all wanting to inherit the crown from reigning queen Sheynnis Palacios.

The new winner will be proclaimed at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, on Nov. 16 (Nov. 17 in Manila).
