BigHit said “Happy” is Jin’s way of conveying his “sincere emotions” to fans, adding that he will be engaging in various activities to promote the album.
“With his sincere emotions and warm messages to his fans woven throughout ‘Happy,’ we hope the album brings joy to all of you. In addition to the album release, Jin will be engaging with fans through various activities. We ask for your continued love and support for Jin as he makes his solo return with ‘Happy,’” it said.
The music label also uploaded a 19-second teaser to the album’s concept, which showed the word “Happy” being spelled out in big, colorful letters.

Jin’s upcoming album was first announced by BigHit in a press statement in August, noting that it would continue the “stellar” performance of K-pop corporation HYBE for the rest of the year.
BigHit, which is the home of BTS and Tomorrow X Together (or TXT), is a sub-label of HYBE.
Jin debuted as the vocalist and visual of BTS in June 2013. He made his solo debut with the single “The Astronaut” in October 2022, which was co-written by the K-pop megastar, British rock band Coldplay, Norwegian producer DJ Kygo, and Moses Martin.
He is the first BTS member to complete his mandatory military service and was discharged in June.
