As “Drag Race Philippines” season three is set to crown its next drag superstar, the show’s inaugural winner Precious Paula Nicole reminded the remaining queens to stay strong.
The third season of the hit series is down to its four finalists, Khianna, Maxie, Angel and Tita Baby, and the winner will be announced on the final episode on Wednesday night, Oct. 9.
But weeks before the finalists were announced, Precious told INQUIRER.net on the sidelines of the Preview Ball that she hoped the remaining contestants would “enjoy the ride.”
“Girl, I was there three years ago! Alam ko gaano kayo nahihirapan (I know how you all struggled). All you had was yourself and your own experience,” she said.
“Lakasan niyo lang loob niyo. And [since sumisikat na kayo], medyo dumadami na rin ang bashers so ang importante is magbigay halaga ang mga supporters na nagmamahal sa inyo. Enjoy the ride. Laging pakak,” Precious continued.
(Be strong. And since you’re becoming more famous, your bashers have grown as well. It’s important to give more importance to your supporters who love you. Enjoy the ride. Always be pakak.)
Precious — who served as one of the guest judges in one of the episodes — said she’s happy with the current season’s popularity, noting how much she enjoyed its “Snatch Game” episode.
“Masayang masaya ako. Meron kaming viewing parties [ng ‘Drag Race Philippines’ season 3]. Sobrang riot,” she said. “Hindi pa rin kami iniiwanan ng fans and patuloy nila kaming mamahalin. Sobrang trending siya and kailangan niyang paingayan.”

Touching on when she feels the prettiest, the drag queen jokingly said she wanted to thank herself “for being so beautiful” all the time.
“I style myself so kaming mga queens, we can’t afford to hire stylists and makeup artists. [Pero if I have the means], why not? Magha-hire na ako. But as of now, ako ang nagsa-style sa sarili ko so I thank myself for being so beautiful,” she said.

Precious was crowned the winner of “Drag Race Philippines” in 2022, after emerging victorious over runner-up Marina Summers.
