Bruno Mars notices Filipino ‘Kalokalike’ from ‘It’s Showtime’
Bruno Mars seemed delighted over the performance of Filipino singer Kent Villarba, who joined the “Kalokalike” segment of “It’s Showtime” and impersonated the Grammy-winning singer.
Villarba sang Mars’ hit songs including “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “When I Was Your Man” and “Die with a Smile,” sending fans and the noontime show hosts in awe, as seen in the program’s episode aired last Friday, Oct. 4.
An Instagram reel of Villarba’s performance shared by ABS-CBN was then reposted by Mars on his Instagram Stories last Saturday, Oct. 5.
Mars’ post has since expired but has already been re-uploaded by the Kapamilya network on its Instagram page.
