Blessa Figueroa of the Philippines is the lone representative of Asia in top five of the Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 coronation held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City on Monday, October 7.
The beauty queen from Northern California was the second candidate to advance to the five finalists after the pageant’s first round of question-and-answer portion.
Here are the five delegates who made it to the Top 5:
- Selena Ali (Belgium)
- Blessa Figueroa (Philippines)
- Jennifer Prokop (Germany)
- Janelis Leyba (USA)
- Karen Sofia Nunez (Mexico)
Before the five finalists were announced, the 10 semi-finalists were asked to share their two cents on various topics including diversity, having the chance to talk to a departed individual, and being the representative of their respective countries, among other topics.
Figueroa spoke about her past struggles strengthening her into the person that she is today.
The five finalists will go head-to-head in the second question-and-answer portion of the pageant which will determine who will be named Miss Asia Pacific International 2024.
